Pros:
The disc golf course resides in the southern third of the park and is distinctly on its own. My one outing here, most non-DG people stayed on the paths that go around the course. I had one lady walk through with her dog while I was trying to putt no. 7, I believe. Apparently, from the other reviews, you should not count on such bliss.
Parking for all activities in the park is pushed out to the north and west edges. People have to walk into their activity: disc golf, dog park, playground, walking trails, fishing (?) pond, etc. I like that; everyone has to walk more and get some extra exercise. This park design also provides a certain buffer from car traffic.
There's a nice balance between totally-open holes (nos. 1, 2, 16, 18), distinctly-wooded holes (nos. 4-6, 11-12, 15), and more parkland-style holes (nos. 3, 7-10, 13-14, 17).
There is also a nice balance between short and longer holes. The super-long holes are saved for last (16-18) and are all par 4s. That may give you a chance to make up a little bit if you've been struggling. Or to throw out your frustration if it's been a poor round.
Cons:
It gets really busy (backups), and some players (unfortunately) are that typically-impatient guy that wants to run over you if you're not moving fast enough for him.
Some people want to use the practice basket to warm up throwing drives from further away, so you have to make sure you're not in line to be beaned if you're actually using the practice basket for the putting it's meant for.
The tees of numbers 16 and 18 sit in the same cove. Can be confusing what is what on a first visit without a local guide, course map in hand, or UDisc on your phone.
Other Thoughts:
There's some modest elevation (8 down, 9 up, 10 down, 11 up, 13 down, 14 up, 16 ending up, 18 gradually up), but I think one would think of the course as mostly flat. As noted elsewhere, park your vehicle near the dog park and take the path to its left and the playground's right over to the disc golf course. There are decent restrooms near the parking area.
