The place to start 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 12, 2020 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

A short course smack in the middle of Bingo Park in Randall. This course is a really great place to start frolfing - baskets are relatively close and there isn't a lot of obstructions.

This is a nice place to go with your family or inexperienced players.

Cons:

This can flood and it can get real mucky, so if the river is high, the course can sour.

Other Thoughts:

Having just played here, the course is really good and not too soaked.

Beginner/relaxing course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 5, 2017 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Multiple tees, and both are well marked, and have fault lines marked by boards inset in the ground
-beautiful park
-water hazard is clean, and easy to retrieve discs from
-family friendly (as in not so hard you can't bring kids)
-Well maintained (Always mowed well, not much, if any garbage, baskets aren't damaged)

Cons:

-All the holes are rather short, no room for a full all-out drive for someone who can drive 300'+
-Holes are rather basic, very few obstacles that pose any threat.
-The park is low lying and is usually saturated and soggy feeling, and can frequently flood. Other than just being wet this also causes some issues as far as look for the grass, and makes it very possible to get your discs and/or bag dirty
-No elevation changes (other than a very small amount on hole 5)

Other Thoughts:

This is honestly one of my favorite courses in the area when I just want to go play, and not challenge myself. It's a wonderful park, never super busy, and an enjoyable course. If you are a beginner, or going out with a family, this is a great course to practice on.. if you're an high level beginner, or intermediate, you will likely enjoy trying to do some ace runs on this course.

Liked it!! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 18, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Multiple tees, long and short. First four and last hole play along a nice fast moving creek. Was very scenic!!
Signage and ground markers did easily identify throwing spots.
While not concrete, the tee pads were level.
Loved the fourth hole... throwing to a peninsula green. Third hole (short) had about a two foot window through a clump of trees!!

Cons:

Holes 6-8 were typical city park type holes. Wide open throws in a wide open field. All about 200 feet.

Other Thoughts:

Was course #4 on a Fathers Day weekend road trip which netted me 12 new courses. Played both tees at the same time. Enjoyed the course for what it was.... a typical city park 9. That said I'll give it a 2.5. Plant a few trees out in the field and it moves to a 3.0.

Dreadful 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 18, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

Good if you only own a putter

Cons:

Really short holes
Right next to a small river
Its in wetland, so constantly getting shoes wet and causing wet socks.
Not enough challenge
The pars are weird for such short holes

Other Thoughts:

Could be perfect and possibly move the tee boxes to smarter positions not in areas that pool crazy amounts of water
