Breaking into Bonita 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Sep 27, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

I found many pro's to the course,it has cement tee pads,it is easy to navigate(if you are not a moron),it has a pretty good layout(really uses the natural surroundings),6 of the 9 holes are in the shade, rough is not too thick, and the tee signs are visible and both tee placement signs were recently painted, the tee numbers alternate short to long after every hole so if you play #1 long, short would be #10,#2 long would be #11 tee and so on.

Cons:

The lake and the drainage ditch. They only come into play if you throw your disc into it.I have lost two discs only because I shanked them.Lake comes into play on 2,5,7 and 9 .Comes into play on 7and 9 only if you have a severely short arm.Although the course is only 9 holes it is very fun to play the different tee pads to make it seem like 18,besides there is no room to fit 18 in this park.

Other Thoughts:

Being from Michigan,I found this course to be alot like some of the flatter township parks.Very worth playing, but it is no Flip City.

God Map 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 3, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

Although just 9 holes, there are multiple tee and pin placements. Nice layout around lake, and the map on hole one was a welcome sight for a traveling player to get an idea on the layout. Mowed grass (not typical for many area courses) in open and still some typical tighter Flordia holes.

Cons:

Not many, fun course to play
