#8 plays across an open field that is marked as OB with a power pole / cell tower to the right. Obviously, you want to avoid that or you will lose a disc. It's hard to find a gap to get your disc through the trees guarding the green. My approach is just to make sure I clear the OB, stay left of the cell tower, and hope I get lucky and make it through the line of trees and land on the green. If you do get lucky, birdie is possible. If you hit a tree or land in front of the trees, your approach shot probably will not be obstacle free.

#7 is the pond hole. There are three tees to choose from: red, blue, or one right at the water's edge (if you don't want to risk losing a disc). It's pretty straightforward: get it over the water!

#6 is almost a completely different hole depending on if the basket is in the short position or in the long position. It's a par 3.5 if it's in the long position -- and extra 50 feet or so and a lot more trees guarding the green. It plays slightly downhill and the woods are not thick. Just try to avoid trees for as long as you can on your drive.

Tip #4

#5 is uphill -- and feels more uphill than it really is because the tee is sunken down from the terrain in front of it. It's a nice, wide fairway, so grip it and throw it as long and as straight as you can. If you go left, you can get lost in tricky woods shots.

#4 is the closest thing to a valley shot on the course. The fairway slopes downhill, then back uphill as you get close to the green. It's a tight fairway and requires a flick or a slight anhyzer from RH throwers.

#3 plays uphill and is pretty straightforward. Don't go too far left or you will be deep in the trees and may not have a good line to the basket on your approach putt.

#2 is a long, downhill, hyzer fairway for RHBH players. The long pin placement adds another 20-30 feet and more tree obstacles. It's OK if your drive hyzers out a *little* early on this one -- you should still get a clean look on your approach shot -- but make sure you carry most of the fairway and downhill with a nice long, only slight hyzer drive.

Tip #8

#1 is short and requires a flick or a slight hyzer for RH throws to get it close to the basket -- in either pin position. In the short position, the basket sits right on the edge of a ridge. If you drive it too far or miss a downhill putt, your disc can be rolling for a while. The long position is not much different, but sits down the slope a little.
