Pros:
Solid baskets.

Other Thoughts:
Great way to get out and stretch the legs. We enjoyed this despite the Nebraska winds. Has room for crushing a drive or two.

Wide Open Spaces - Great Place to Work on Driving! 2+ years drive by

Pros:
This course has a lot of wide open space which offers newer players working on their distance driving skills or working on different throwing styles a chance to do so without fear of loosing a disc or hitting something.
Most of the holes are a long in distance with few trees that get in the way. There were only 2 holes that really forced us to have to throw a hyzer or anhyzer shot if we didn't want to throw one.
This course has nice brand new Innova disc catchers and a lot of space to practice without fear of holding people up on the course since it is not used as much as the course at lake hastings.
All in all this is a fun course for beginners who have some of the basics of driving to an experienced vet looking to rip a huge drive shot. It may lack the challenges of a course with as many hazards as Lake Hastings or Cottonmill but it certainly has its place and is worth the drive.

Cons:
At the time of this review the course does not have any concrete teepads on any of the holes. Although the grounds are kept much nicer than that of some courses in the public parks it could soon develop ruts and holes near the tees as players play after a good rain. Hopefully since they sprang for nice Innova disc catchers they will eventually install concrete tees to use which will improve the rating of this course. Once they do install tee pads I will probably increase my rating of this course because of how well the grounds are kept.
At this time most of the holes lack enough trees to provide a challenge to those playing through to the baskets. Some of the holes do have some young trees around them that will increase the difficulty as they grow older but there is not enough of them at the time of this review
For someone who might be nursing an injury or be playing with a physical handicap this course is fairly lengthy at this time and even between the holes there is a large distance to cover from one basket to the next tee. This course also lacks any benches to provide someone with a place to rest. If you are expecting a place to rest your legs you'll have to sit on the grass or bring a small fold up seat with you.
This course also lacks enough signage to indicate where the disc golf course begins and ends. They did however include course maps and scorecards at the first tee but finding the first tee if you've never been here can be somewhat confusing.
The course also ends a long distance away from where it starts so once you finish up on 9 if you parked by 1 you'll have to walk a ways back to where you started. If they were to put in another 9 holes and change it up so the front 9 finishes closer together and make the last half the back 9 this course layout would be better utilized. At the current time the layout feels more like it was design to take you on a tour of the campus rather than be designed for a quick round of disc golf.

Other Thoughts:
I really enjoyed this course a lot after playing a whole slew of courses this weekend. Although it may lack the obstacle challenges that other course may provide the length of this course does encourage you to work on your driving technique and honestly this is probably the best place to practice driving in all of central Nebraska without fearing holding people up, loosing a disc, or hitting someone or something that you would normally have to worry about at other course. I plan on hitting up this course if I'm in town and would like to work on driving.
This is not a good course to take beginners to or people who are struggling with achieving even a moderate to low driving distance. A course like Minden DGC, Centennial Park DGC in Kearney, or Gibbon DGC would be better suited to teaching someone the game of disc golf without discouraging them because of the raw distance that this course covers.
