Pros:
Private course that is well maintained (a bit muddy after rain) and a great escape from the normal courses in the area that are torn up and abused from inconsiderate players. We camped out on a Saturday night and got a few rounds in. Very serene back in the woods. It is worth it alone to go for just the atmosphere. This is a course for people who truly love disc golf, and it is nice to run into others out there that feel the same way. The camping area has a huge fire pit and lots of wood available for use (I assume from clearing out sections of the course). There are even a couple holes at the end lit up by some solar lights in case it gets dark quickly as you finish your round!
Cons:
None really, but is challenging for beginners. For the ease of scoring, every hole is par 3, even though there are a couple that could go 5. A score of +12 would be phenomenal from the golds. Some of the pin placements are brutal - on the side of cliffs, over a lake, blind shots behind trees, but it is a welcome challenge and a course you will not soon forget.
Other Thoughts:
Course plays mostly through the woods, as well as up and down an open hill. Contact Grandaddy before you go, he and his brother and son are very accommodating and you can tell they just want people to have fun and enjoy the sport. I am definitely becoming a member next year. They ask for a small "greens fee" from non members, but this is peanuts for the opportunity to play at such a nice course.
