Just gonna say it's as Fun, Challenging, and Pretty as any Birdable stretch of Discgolf out there

18 thru 24 Play around an area with the Least Elevation changes, on Green
These Fun Holes are Diverse in both how they Look and how they Play
But the DG all still Feels very Green Course

Not sure if Clay is what makes the Till Brownish or not, but it would make things Extra Slick during Wet conditions, if it were so

With all the Deciduous Trees, Leaves could hide Discs during Fall... am assuming

Birch/Poplar Trees along Fairways or around Baskets add to the Aesthetics on some Holes

There's mostly Maple Canopy here, but sometimes I'd walk up to my Throw and be standing on a pile of Acorns, then look up at a Massive White Oak
Trees on Red are even Bigger versions

Threw Meteors and Buzzz' like a Mofo at Chains Edge... and Loved every minute of it

-Choice of two course ( Green & Red with the red baskets very easy to see through the trees...the green's a little tougher)
-Beautiful, thought out design
-Mostly wooded with at least one water obstacle and elevated lanes
-Can play all day for once price
-A bit isolated, but a local bar and grill sits about a mile away with a very nice view of a charming lake.
-Outhouse are at the start of the courses and I even saw one half way through the Red course
-Through the course is fairly easy to follow, lots of signs point the way if you get turned around.

-Off the beaten track, and a tad hard to locate the first time.
-Bring repellent and even long pants and shirts. The mosquitoes were very bad that day and even cut my game short.
-Out houses, at least one, was in desperate need of being swapped out
-Some of the course signs were down, offering a bit of confusion at a few points
-No concrete tees, but tees are well designed and stable Not really a problem, more of an observation.
-There is a fee for playing, not a con really but it should be know to all who choose to play there.
-There is a lot of vegetation here and the lanes are narrow, even the best golfers may be looking for lost discs.

Starting on the Red Course I was struck by the beautiful red mushrooms that lined the paths, the lush green ferns that sprung up around me and the tiny frogs that constantly dared me to stomp on them. On this course you are as one with nature as it gets and it is elevating. At moments I felt like I was transported to the Black Forest, half expecting to see a cottage made of ginger bread at the next turn. That's how enveloped this all feels.

It is a Pay to Play course and if you come on a weekday I would suggest trying to contact the owner and let him know when you plan to arrive since he is not always there or available when he is there unless he knows when you plan to arrive.

There are two course a Red and a Green course, The Red is longer and, according the owner, easier. Red and Green baskets are used to identify and separate the two distinct courses. I can't speak for the Green Course, but the Red Course does have a water hazard and some sunny wide open lanes that break from the trees about half way through its run.

This is one of the best courses I've been too and I so want to play it again. Every lane is a mini work of art by the owner who is passionate about disc golf. You can see how much of himself he has put in this place with every well though out lane. If your in the area I think it's a must.

-24 holes of heavily wooded technical fun
-Great natural pads that I personally like. The soil is more sand than anything and creates a nice solid surface to throw from. Does not get all sloppy from rain, the sand drains much better. Slip factor not as much of a factor on these pads as it is on a standard dirt natural pad that gets muddy.
-Great design on almost every hole on the course. Chad does a great job at creating the lane for the "best" shot at a run towards the basket, however, he also gives an alternative lane for a guy that maybe isn't as versatile and is stuck on only a forehand or backhand.
-Navigation out on this large stretch of property is made very easy to follow. Anyone should be able to throw a hole and using the arrows easily find that path that leads to the next hole. There are 48 holes out here and my group didn't once seem to have an issue navigating.
-Basket locations all easily determined from the box. Don't believe we had to walk up and down a fairway at all out here scratching our head as to where the basket was. With a little bit of common sense and perhaps stepping off to the side of a box we were able to spot where we were going on most holes.
-Can camp in a tent out here or utilize the cabin Chad has available. This is very convenient for the crowd that looks to put some rounds in out here.
-Tons of fun holes out here. I walked up to hole after hole and found myself saying this looks like another fun line to throw. Chad understands what he is doing and creates fun lanes requiring the player to be skilled in many different throws. The 1 throw hyzer shot will not get it done out here if you want a decent score.
-You throw uphill, downhill, right, left and s-curves throughout this course. You really can't be a one trick pony.
-The downhill shots out here are truly something to get excited about.
-outhouses on site and are fairly clean. Hovering isn't completely necessary out here.

-No garbages out on the course, requiring you to hold onto anything you brought in with you or be the complete jacka** that throws his garbage out on the course. This is a one man wrecking crew out working on this course(chad). Please be respectful and let him focus on continuing to make the course better by picking your own garbage up.
-Outhouses at the start, but beyond that make sure you bring a rag in case of an emergency. The terrain out here is similar to mountain climbing. Hitting up 24 holes without a toilet at the midway point can make for a rough situation if the rumbly tumbly's hit hard once you get a few holes too deep. Make sure you take care of any questionables before you make the trek or you may regret losing your tshirt back in the woods.
-I believe there was only 1 "water" hole on this course. the terrain in general is what it is and most holes you will be looking at the same hazards as all the other holes out on the property. The water you do have to throw over is right in front of your face and would like require a horrible kick off a tree or a slip for you to hit.
-The holes are all fairly short with a few getting some decent distance. This is what it is, the course is highly technical and if these holes were too long it would be impossible to feel good about your game after throwing it.

Chad is doing an awesome job out on both the courses on this property. It is very difficult to distinguish the 2 courses which is somewhat of a drawback. This property truly feels like 1 course containing 48 holes. However, the 48 holes Chad has designed out here are 48 holes of complete awesomeness for anyone who enjoys a good technical course. If you prefer a more routine, long holed "championship" style course only, this may not completely satisfy your needs, though you will have fun. Beginner players and those who never developed their game much will have a hard time out here as the lanes require you to understand how discs fly and good technique. I came out with a group of 3 and wasn't sure if we would be staying 1 night or 2 nights. As soon as I drove into the place I had a better idea I would be wanting to stay here longer. Chad was very hospitable and we stayed in the cabin. The cabin is a shell, wooden cabin that gets the job done. Look at it this way, it saves you from having to set up a tent basically and protects better from the elements than a tent if needed. If you are a big arm guy that really has no technical game, you will likely not like either of these courses. Be honest with yourself, come out with the right expectations and work on your technical game out here because it is probably the most fun I have had throwing technical courses. An easy comparison for those that have played it would be Standing Rocks in Wisconsin. These courses are awesome and I recommend every avid disc golfer to get out here immediately before everyone is out here. Top 5 in MN no doubt in my mind and when you add in the ability to sleep right out on the courses, it makes it a top disc destination in MN.

well designed, well maintained, bathrooms on-site, beautifully technical (but not impossible for good shots), amazing scenery, many elevation changes on almost every hole, well placed tee boxes, no overlapping, next tee signs on every hole, lanes for almost any throw from tee boxes, new baskets, shorter course (distance) than the Red which makes it a little easier, no bugs when I went, more ace-friendly holes than the Red

pack-in/pack-out course with no garbage receptacles, restrooms are only in the parking lot (can be a problem with 24 holes), signage is pretty minimal for the course-property entrance, gets a bit muddy especially the natural tee pads after rain

With 24 holes, expect to spend 3-4 hours with a group to finish. This course is second to only the Red course that shares the property (IMHO). Expect to have your mind blown from how much this course has to offer. Chad, the owner/designer is awesome and very helpful. Do yourself a favor and plan to play this course on a Saturday or Sunday so you aren't racing the sunlight. The Green run is a little easier than the Red run with distance being the main difference. Plenty of variety in hole design and no repetitive holes. This is a Bucket List course, hands down.
