Elevation, some open holes, some wooded. Beautiful new baskets.

Poor signage means difficult navigation on holes 5-9. I couldn't find any sensible way to cross the creek the multiple times it was required. Steep hills made for treacherous up and down on muddy hills.

With a lawn mower and a few foot bridges this could be a fun course. As it is, I ended my game frustrated and with a pair of ruined, muddy wet shoes.

Some excellent elevation shots throughout the course. A nice change of scenery from Monte's Lagoon Park course, which is very flat.

A real nature lovers course on the back half, trekking up steep hills and across streams is enjoyable for some.

Poor signage: They appear to be temporary. Currently displaying the hole number, yardage, and a photograph of the throwing lane to the basket, printed on a 8x11 sheet of paper and taped on a small fencing post. They will soon be gone due to the weather and/or vandalism destorying them. This is a new course so I am optimistically assuming that better signs are planned and just have not yet been installed.

Poor tees: Not sure what to expect here. For now they are dirt/grass tees. Marked off only by the signs. Be careful not to slip on your tee shot and roll down one of these hills.

Hills: The hills on this course are dangerous. I say this as the parent of a daring 4 year old, and I won't be brining him back here for another year or two. But even for a healthy adult there are plenty of steep hills, tripping hazards and areas to stay aware of. I found it difficult to make my way up to the hole 9 basket, located on the edge of a downslope with little traction on dirt and leaves.

Water: There are 4 holes nearby or crossing a small stream. The water is currently low, but this could be very inconvenient if the water level was to rise. But maybe it never does. There was one bridge on the far end, so we were hoping on rocks to cross. The water is not deep enough to lose a disc in.

Compact: The entire course is packed into a relatively small area. This is very evident on the first half where holes are side by side with tees just steps away from baskets. You need to make sure other groups are clear before throwing.

With better signs and tees my rating of this course would go up to a 2.5. They did the best they could with a very small, very hilly area. I'm personally amazed 9 holes fit in there. It's very playable, and I always like to say "it's better than no course at all!"

Please don't let my long list of cons stop you from playing this course. I wanted to be sure and list them all for other folks like me with children, or anyone concerned with slipping on the hills dealing with the water.

I noticed kids playing there stuck to the first four holes rather than playing the entire course. This is likely because those holes are much easier to manuver with mowed grass, no water hazards, better traction on the hills and less trees to throw thru.
