Pros:
*** Wes, the driving force for disc golf at Clos Pepe, took most of the baskets when he left and the owners of the property, Steve and Cathy, do not want strangers on their property. So Clos Pepe is a retired course.
It is a beautiful setting with elevation shots and obstacles interlaced in the hills, vineyards, and pond on a nice private estate.
Andrew, the wine sales manager, is a nice guy.
The pictures on this site of each hole give you a rough idea of the original course.
Cons:
It is private property behind a locked gate and disc golfers are no longer welcome.
Other Thoughts:
The baskets that still remain are 4 (14), 5 (15), 7 (11), and 8 (12). There is a basket for 2, but it's not standing so currently not functional. The original 18 hole course had 9 baskets and each basket is played twice from a different direction. Another basket was added between 4 and 5 which makes for 20 holes.
