Not bad, but congested park 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 2, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

Good condition baskets
Some distance for a 9 hole course
Not boring

Cons:

Lots of stuff in the park, several holes go around/over/near other amenities in the park.
No tee signs or map

Other Thoughts:

Actually found out about this course on UDisc, it was uploaded there in June, however a search on Google Maps, the street view shows baskets in the ground in November of 2012.

The holes do still have the numbers on the polls, I was able to figure out where the tee's were on every hole after walking the course backwards.

Hole 1 tee's off in the grass in the area between the pool and a parking lot right off the street. Marked with a plank in the ground. Longer turnover shot unless you throw over the pool (not recomended)

Hole 2 tees off near basket 1 down towards a building with the ball fields on the right and picnic tables on the left.

Hole 3 tees off near basket 2 and goes across the wash to the basket closer to the road with a ball field on your right and other park amenities

Hole 4 is crazy, throwing across the road, over the basketball court, over picnic tables.

Hole 5 tee's off from the cement slab, across the park with the pond on your right.

Hole 6 tee's off from the cement slab towards the street with a parking lot on your left and the RV park fence on your right.

Hole 7 throws from 6's fairway down towards the courses parking area, you actually throw past #8's tee pad

Hole 8 throws from road (and 7's fairway) throught the trees with the RV parking on your right and a small pavilion on your left.

hole 9 throws across 8's fairway to the basket right next to the parking area for the course. Lots of low tree's and not a great line. RV parking to your left and that small pavilion right in the middle of the fairway.

In fall, I was really the only person in the park when I played, it was actually before the sun came up. You had some longer holes to air it out and some short holes to get some 2's.

I enjoyed most of the course after I figured it out.

But the question is, would I play here again?

Well, this course is out in the middle of no where, you do have courses 30 minuets up the road in Odessa that are much more challenging. So no, only if I was living in the area and didn't have time to run up the road to Odessa.
