Pros:

You can complete the course, which is only thirteen holes, in under an hour.
Beginner and kid friendly.
Well maintained.
Easily accessible, basically a block or two from downtown.

Cons:

You can complete the course in under an hour.

If you're even a half decent player, breaking par is pretty easy, probably too much so.

Basket placements are confusing on hole two and hole thirteen.

Too short, too open. pretty much point and shoot. The course would likely have been more fun and more challenging as a nine hole layout, not the overly ambitious thirteen it is.

Blue tees are laughably marked as PRO. They're not even lengthy enough, with a couple of exceptions, to be classified as intermediate. The course designer had to have meant these as a joke, I'm guessing.

No washrooms. Just an outhouse with a hilarious graffiti reference to what I was told is the course designer's ego.

Okay, Don't Make a Trip Up Just for This Though 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 24, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Quiet area, not much pedestrian/park interference.

- Easy to find course, wide open.

Cons:

- Short and wide open, nothing really interesting and no obstacles outside of a small creek and one or maybe two small stands of trees.

- Tee pads difficult to identify at times, advanced tee pads were very confusing.

- Shared baskets.

Other Thoughts:

Appreciated that someone took the time to put this course in when I was working in the area, but if you're doing a course bucket list I would definitely not recommend driving out of your way to play this one. Very rudimentary, it's a bit misleading in the description to say that the course is geared to intermediate players. I got bored after a few holes and just threw to random baskets and practiced putting. Short and super wide open, not much else to say. If you're in the general area Grande Prairie has a course worse driving to check out.
