Equipment was very good and course was well maintained when I played it. There were two teepads and two baskets on every hole which allows for lots of variety on the course. Good signage on most holes but a few were missing. Some good distance on holes that allow big arms to really launch some shots. Good use of water and some baskets placed on mounds that create some tough greens to putt on especially if the winds are up. My favorite holes were 2, 7, 8, 15, and 16.

The flow is absolutely the worst I have ever seen on a course. You back track several times and criss-cross the course multiple times. In my opinion, it doesn't make sense. If I didn't bring a map it would almost have been unplayable. Once you are done on 18, you have a nice approximately 1/2 mile walk back to your vehicle and the start of the course. There were several holes that there were exactly no trees or obstacles in your fairway even though there were several trees available to be used for the hole such as on 9, 11, 12, and 17. I am a left handed and throw primarily back hand and I noticed that a vast majority of the holes here either were a straight shot or finished left (right handed BH hyzer shot). It's a minor complaint but something that I personally didn't like about the course.

I was in town for the weekend to watch my daughter play soccer at the Butler County Community College and the course is right next door to the stadium where she was playing. In the future if I happen to be in town again for something similar, I will play it again. However, I pass through El Dorado, KS often and I doubt I will ever stop again.
