Pros:
Elephant park disc golf course is more practice area than course. The park itself is well maintained with tennis courts and baseball fields. The "course" wraps around the tennis courts clockwise from the parking lot.
The baskets are nice new Mach III's. These catch great and are better than the baskets at a couple nearby courses, which is unfortunate.
There are short wood posts by each tee area with an arrow pointing toward the pin. These serve their purpose just fine here.
The "course" is free to play and permanent.
A couple of trees in play on each hole, adding a VERY minimal amount of challenge. Very slight elevation on the last 3 holes as well.
Cons:
This is more practice space than actual course. I'm sure most will realize that going in. Not really any cons if you keep that in mind.
If you really want to nitpick, no holes over about 125 feet.
Other Thoughts:
This course was between Trollwood and Oak Grove so I figured I'd stop in and give it a quick round. I'm a slightly above average player and shot an easy 4 under. My wife got a 3 under. No real reason to go here for anyone except if you have small children, who it would probably be pretty fun for. I played just so I could get a review for it on the board. Short practice area basically. At least it only took me around 10 minutes to play.
