Pros:
+shade…the course has plenty of tall big trees that tower overhead and provide a pleasant cooler temperature for the persistent Louisiana summers
+trees also provide obstacles to throw around, so there are defined fairways
+grass appears to be cut regularly
Cons:
-only six baskets
-tee sign for hole 2 missing
-no course map, natural tees, no benches, no frills
-flat
Other Thoughts:
I really appreciate the tall trees on this course, and the lush lawn. The hole distances seem to average around 270', so it's no "pitch & putt" and nothing is a gimme…you have to have some mastery of the disc to birdie out here. Other than that, not much to distinguish this course from thousands of other typical disc golf courses in the world. It's a decent place to play if you're ever in the area, and a convenient stop for course baggers in between Lafayette and Alexandria.
