Pros:

- Excellent course design with a nice variety of holes, including a signature high-elevation bomb!

- Located in a beautiful recreational family-friendly complex with nice public washrooms and a water dispenser

- Open to the public with no course fees and unlimited free parking and even a dog park - beautiful.

- Very well maintained with nice baskets, short and long pad positions, t-signs, way-findings, and so on.

- Friendly locals and the small town of Paris nearby has a Tim Horton's, a beer store, gas stations, restaurants, etc.

Cons:

- none, really, except that I don't live in Paris to enjoy it more often!

Other Thoughts:

- I routinely drive over an hour to throw Paris with my friends and we all enjoy it - magical in the summer

- This course demonstrates that disc golf can live comfortably in a mixed-use urban park setting

- Make sure you throw the long position on hole #13. Go to the top of the hill for the full effect!

Pros:

Green Lane Sports Complex is a diverse, challenging and fairly technical course in a beautiful setting. The course features awesome Prodigy baskets. There are large rubber mats for the tees and no problem with slipping (even when wet) on them like some other inferior rubber tees.

The shot variety here is excellent with a good balance of hyzer, straight and anhyer shots. The land here is a bit on the flat side with the exception of one big hill and I'm happy to report the elevation changes available were all used to their full extent. The one big hill is excellently used for a great uphill shot and a very memorable downhill bomb!

There is a good variety of foliage here also. The course begins and ends with wooded hole among the pine trees, there are a few open holes and the rest have some trees and some open spaces to work with.

There are dual tees on a few of the hole to make the more beginner friendly, but overall this is a fairly challenging course.

Cons:

Nice tee signs are in the works and will be on the course soon. Navigating the course is already pretty intuitive and the "next tee" arrow on the tee signs will help with that.

One or two of the wooded holes feel a bit too tight IMHO, but as a whole the course is definitely fair and rewards good skilled shots.

There are a few rough spots on the course but it is still fairly new so I'm sure it will break in nicely.

Other Thoughts:

Overall this is a nice challenging, mostly technical course but there's a good variety of foliage so there's a little something for everyone and the top of the world shot gives you a spectacular view and will make you want to empty your bag!
