Head Lake Park is a nice spot. Usually well-maintained and clean with friendly people.

Nearby some restaurants, pubs, galleries and all Haliburton village has to offer like that cool plane and train that you can check out.

Most of the water is so shallow that if you lose a disc in it you can recover it.

Me and my buddy Dookie play this course often when we go to the cottage. It's nothing special but it's still fun to play and the park is nice. In order to make up for it being short and simple, I recommend just playing basket to basket instead of where the map tells you to play from them. Holes 3, 6, 8 and 9 are all significantly improved playing from the last basket by stretching the holes out, making you shoot over the water and around obstacles can make the day a lot more fun.

Sometimes Dookie plays on the Tarzan swing and hurts himself in the shallow river and we have to go home.

When this place is busy and played by the map it isn't the best but if you go at the right time and play it the tougher way, it can be a great time.
