Under Construction But Playable 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 18, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Has some good long holes with some trees. Directional signs to the next hole. It has 3 highly technical holes. #7 is a championship hole 2 fight paths and 2 pin placements in heavy woods. Has 2 practice targets. Has straight, right, left draw, woods to open and open to woods holes. Long for a 9 hole course 3065/3470 ft and most of the tees are easily lengthen. Tees were shorten for safety.

Cons:

Still under construction, but playable. Tee pads are rough, Needs rubber tee pads. Still has cut down tree as tripping hazards. Needs some bridges in the wet areas. Fairways need to be better defined. Needs a couple of years to mature. 3 holes under 200 ft from white tees. But 2 holes over 400, 1 over 500, and a 607 from the white tee.

Other Thoughts:

2016 started with a 5 hole temporary course. Then in 2017 move to 10 acre permanent track, part open, part heavy woods 9 hole plus 2 practice targets. Built by volunteers from Kiwanis Club of Hampstead. Written by the designer/ installer/ volunteer.
