Short Stack drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 22, 2023 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Just like pancakes....Short Stack......It's short BUT stacks up quite nicely! Great use of space! Always a nice flow to the round. Plays quick or play it twice for the full 18. Benches and signage are great. Lots of shade.

Cons:

Restricted hours due to being on the Dank House Brewery's property. (Gate is closed in off hours) however, the gate is typically open on Saturday mornings. Grass carpet Tee pads not concrete.

Other Thoughts:

I have only played it on Saturday mornings before Brewery opens. But it is a great short finesse course. Shape your shots and bang chains. Easily played in a half hour or less. I have never had to pay the $5 when played on Saturday's. When in the area it is a must play!

Pros:

Gimme some more.

- High quality baskets
- Tees have a beer holder
- Tee signs are sufficient in information
- Easy flow
- On site as a brewery with IMHO great tacos
- Good hole design that is fun and not too crowded together, but also short walks between holes
- Scenic little wooded area with grassy fairways and plenty of trees to add enough element of difficulty
- Tees are currently level and offer good enough traction

Cons:

- The raptor cage is a bit more gimmicky than I prefer, but all should know that while you may not realize it at first, it is wide open to get inside of and retrieve your disc

***I do not actually fault the course for these***
- Pay to play
- I am what is known as an 'elevation whore' and this course has almost none, but the course does use what it can.

Other Thoughts:

This is a super fun place to just hang out, have a few beers, eat some good food, and throw frisbees. There are fire rings at the brewery to hang out at and they have live music on occasion. Just a neat atmosphere. Certainly I would love to hang out here if it were closer to my home.

The course is certainly a solid little nine, with top notch amenities, which is why I gave it a little bump in the rating.

So, with that, I crack a beer and say "Cheers -- may the hops ever be in your favor"
