Awesome technical course in the woods! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:May 12, 2019 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Love this course! Well marked, great layout, with some elevation changes, and lots of trees. Trails and signage make it easy to find next tee and baskets. Plenty of birdie opps if you have the skills to balance out the other times you stray from the fairways and get stuck in trees. Such a fun and challenging course.

Cons:

Tee pads could be better, but then again so could I lol. Tough to par this course...One day!!

Other Thoughts:

If there is headwind on hole 17 and 18, it's a good idea to send out a spotter. Tee pads get muddy in the rain, and plenty of roll your ankle hazards on and off fairways, so its a good idea to wear sturdy footwear.

Pros:

Technically challenging. Every time you play it you have to be 'on your game'.
Playable year round: Protection against windy conditions due to high trees.

Cons:

Undergrowth in summer can make for an extended search if you're way off certain fairways.

Other Thoughts:

Nice blind corners and a final basket on 18 where you can loose a perfect round and the championship.

Fun technical course, challenges all stylez 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 24, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Technical and in a fun forest. Always easy to find the next hole. Challenges all throwing styles- if you can't throw both forehand and backhand, you will have some holes that are very tough to drive on. For the most part, underbrush is easy to find discs in. Washroom at parking lot. Last few holes have awesome mountain view.

Cons:

Natural teepads don't always give the best footing. You probably need a spotter to play holes 17 and 18. Only one hole that allows you to open up and rip.

Other Thoughts:

If you like being in the forest on technical lines, you will like those course. If you like grip-and-rip play this one is not for you.

Love the hometown course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 19, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Great Location in the woods. So nice to finally have baskets up. Well marked.

Cons:

Tough if you miss the fairway. Lots of trees. A tad tricky to find the first hole but once found it was great. Make sure you click on the photos tab to see a map of the course.

Other Thoughts:

Would defiantly come back to place the course again. and again and again.
