In a level park just south of the tracks in Sallisaw, they've built a nice recreational to intermediate level 18 hole course with (mostly) two basket positions per hole for as much variety as the land allowed. Reasonable signage, 4'x8' level concrete tees, and lime green, webbed Prodigy baskets comprise the infrastructure. Shots range from <250' to >370', with some options for flight lines amongst the park trees. They've obviously extended hole 1 to a longer (third?), more difficult position almost all the way through the grove of cedar trees. And you do finish with a 'pond carry' (option to bail out right, and go around), with a long basket tucked into a tiny copse of guardian trees to challenge your approach / putt.

In some cases, several holes play alongside the paved jogging path, so they have some marked mandos, but that won't cover misfires if players don't use good judgement and patience (qualities for which we've all seen lacking from time to time). Be careful crossing the street, then the 12th fairway to get to hole 9. And don't miss the doubling back to your right for holes 4 & 6, Don't simply step up to the tee for 5 right past 3.

Safety 'red flags' entered my mind for a couple of basket positions. I know most courses 'evolve' to add length and never seem to be moved back to the available short positions, but the hole 1 mando left brings the 2nd tee into play from behind, and the long position on 18 actually brings into play a big arm overthrowing into the parked cars maybe 25' past the pin.

I chose to park by the 13th tee and begin there, since it was easy to get to and in the 'middle' of the layout. Technically the course wasn't really 'as expected' here on dgcr due to the all too common lack of course condition (particularly pin position) updates.
