Other Thoughts:

I was able to visit and play this 9-hole course a handful of times while visiting Byesville for a project I've been working on in the area. It's a quaint little park with some nice pavilions, a playground, basketball courts, and the disc golf course. This will make for a nice family spot, and is appealing to the beginner and recreational disc golfer.

The course layout is decent, with a nice range of hole distances. Most holes are fairly wide open and utilize mandos, the hillside elevation, and some mature trees in their design. Course par is very generous, and the par 4's and 5's truly play as 3's and 4's so scoring under par for an experienced player shouldn't be a problem.

Navigation is straightforward, and you can play a round in a short amount of time if the course isn't crowded. Very repeatable and overall enjoyable, the park land isn't very expansive so the layout installed makes full use of what I could see was made available.

There are spots where the holes play close to one another so a crowded course with varying skill levels could pose issues. A few good ace runs and a few long bombers are rounded out by a few standard holes. Concrete tee pads, signs, and baskets are all fresh and the course installation was very well done. It's a nice clean park with a basic 9-hole course that is very approachable for beginners and casual throwers alike.
