A Fun Course for All Levels of Players! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 28, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course was well-thought out. It was clearly designed to be fun for people of all skill levels to play. Some courses offer the same basic dog-leg shots over and over, but not here! While there are a few basic open holes, most of the holes made you think about disc selection and the best line of approach. While the distances were all fairly modest, there were several quite memorable holes with interesting drives/approaches (7, 10, and 15 definitely come to mind). While it is a relatively new course, the brush was not bad and the setting was calm and beautiful. The on-site pro shop was nice, and Henry, the owner, was very hospitable. I played with a few of the local regulars who happened to be there (Jay, Nick, and Henry) who were all really friendly and fun. Most, if not all, of the holes had benches by the tees, and the grounds were well-maintained. There is a course tips sheet and scorecards available.

Cons:

This course is relatively new and I'm sure there are additional developments are coming; however, some of the more regular amenities that many experienced players are looking for are absent. Signage is the most notable missing piece. The only signage on the course are posts at each tee with the hole number. If I had not been with local regulars, I might have had a little difficulty navigating the course. The tee pads were also somewhat short; although the ground around them was well-levelled and thoroughly wood-chipped, so you could use as much space before or after the tee as you wanted. If you are an advanced player who is only interested in courses that challenge pro-level players, this course might not challenge you as much as you'd like.

Other Thoughts:

I had a lot of fun playing this course, and it was well worth the visit.
