Pros:
- 2 baskets per hole, both high quality, reds look brand new
- concrete tees
- multiple tees
- tee signs
Cons:
- too much water hazard throughout the course, boarding on the silly side of the spectrum.
- gators are/could be present, yet there are tee pads, a majority of fairways, and baskets closely along the overgrown edges of the lake
- a majority of the course is completely overgrown. Some fairways are the actual road around the pond, others don't really have a path cleared overhead.
- one of the worst courses mosquito-wise I've yet to experience.
Other Thoughts:
I have so many questions about this course. Mainly, why was the course designed to be so difficult and what demographic of players are they trying to reach?
I plain didn't like this course from start to finish. Courses teeming with water OB have never really sat well with me, but this one was over the top. It's neither well suited for a wide variety of players, nor was it a fun design to throw. Add the lack for course maintenance, possible gators, prominent mosquitos problem, and you have the perfect ingredients for a train wreck course.
