Short walk from RV 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 15, 2018 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Had the course to myself... no waiting. Signs at the tees have been upgraded to include distance.

Cons:

Painted chains didn't grab the disk as well. Had to wait for traffic a couple times. I play barefoot and the gravel in the tees was a bit sharp, just played from the grass.

Other Thoughts:

Great if you're staying there anyway! My knees only let me drive 200 feet so the 155 to 400 foot holes were nice. Hole four is next to some weeds and a corn field but it would still be hard to loose a disk.

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 2, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Well marked tees and good tee signs
Tee boxes are gravel, but good footing
Bright yellow baskets easy to see

Cons:

Homemade baskets, don't catch the best
No hole numbers on baskets
Too close to the road on a couple of holes and gravel

Other Thoughts:

Nice range of long and short holes
Great course to just practice

Bring your putter 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 17, 2014 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

This course is very easy, and for someone who might want to practice their mid-range game or short game, you will get a lot of practice. There are some elevation changes which makes the course at least a little challenging. There are maybe 3 holes that you will need a driver...maybe. You don't have a high chance of losing your disc, that is for sure.

Cons:

This course is small, in a field next to a road and really not well constructed. The tee's are really difficult to find because they are just grass with a square set of 4 2x4's (maybe about 10 ft to a side) laid out around the tee. The grass is long so that doesn't help you find the tee's. The baskets are not all regulation height; some are very low to the ground. There also aren't any signs to mark the hole number or the par, just the 2x4's and a pole.

Other Thoughts:

This is right next to a campground and also near a big water park. It definitely is not the course you want to play if you are in the area (play Exchange instead). However, it has a couple of decent holes and offers the chance to get some practice on your short game. I suspect there might be some improvements on the tee's and maybe the baskets, but this course is limited on space.
