Pros:
--Many of the holes have well-defined fairways, marked by the stumps of cleared trees.
--Many of those cleared trees have been used well as seats or barriers (as on hole 9).
--It appears as though the YMCA property has been used to its fullest.
--An attempt has been made at offering multiple tees.
Cons:
--Some holes do not have well-defined fairways, so at times one just has to trust the tee pad direction and launch.
--There are a lot of arrows trying to lead you to the next tees, but once you get into the later holes, they become less clear.
--Temps have dropped a little, but I can imagine the snakes in this area are easy to find in the summer.
--In regards to the hole signage at the tees, just like the directional arrows in between holes, they start off pretty good, then slowly dwindle to nonexistent.
--The majority of the different tees don't seem to change up the hole very much. Many of them use the same narrow lanes, rather than changing the angles to the basket.
--No benches or trash cans
--Natural tee pads, which is fine, but not when they are riddled with roots, stumps, and other growth that got chopped off just above the ground.
Other Thoughts:
This course shows obvious signs of promising effort, but still requires a LOT of work to reach its potential, particularly on the later holes.
