Pros:

Well laid out for the area the course is on. Some of the best signage I have ever seen. Clean course. Lots of benches. 17 of 18 holes are fun to play, the other is just the toughest...lol. Par 56 and I shot a 57 (I am an average player). 800+ rated players may find it easy, but typical rec players will love the course and the possibility of hitting par on most holes! Tough to lose errant discs, brush was thin outside the fairways. Located at a 23 space campground. Camping rates were very reasonable. Changes/alterations may have been made since last reviewer visited -- very fluid course, 8 holes under 200', and only 2 over 300'. Very pleasant course.

Cons:

Truly in the middle of nowhere for US citizens. I wouldn't recommend this for a destination, but if road tripping or on vacation in the area, I would recommend it. Poison ivy warnings...I visited on a day with 2 inches of snow present so all foliage was minimal, but they did have warning signs on 2 holes.

Pros:

This 18 hole course is one of two in the Can 3 loop by Trail BC. It is located in a campground outside Fruitvale along a creek bottom and some hills. The first few holes are in and around the campground and somewhat better than I expected for that type of course, long enough to be challenging and require some accuracy. Then it veers into hills outside the camp and changes it's demeanor greatly. Long tunnel shots to Doglegs, ridiculously long dogleg treading between 2 holes, and confusing holes that are easy to throw the wrong fairway despite signs.
Good concrete tees and newer baskets, fairways were well trimmed and mowed, but unforgiving in the roughs. There was a good course map and score cards by the 1st tee.

Cons:

The dual nature of this course was jarring. Started super short, had holes on the back with doglegs that were crazy long for the listed par. According to local, almost had to throw on another fairway then hyzer over trees to get par.
3 Throws along the daycamp bbq area and between that and a kids play area and is a dogleg. potentially hazardous. Confusion around 12/14 had us throwing to wrong pin. Walkout to 11 is strange and across fairways. Flow just got weird on the back.
Mosquitoes!!! We threw in the evening in July and even the Deep Woods off wasn't keeping them away.

Other Thoughts:

Not a bad course over all, have played much worse. Was great to play this one and Thin Air in Rossland, good contrasting courses, one on top of mountain, one on bottom. Make a good if long day trip from Spokane.
Ana hit her 1st chains on drive, will always like this course. :)

Pros:

The course was very challenging at times. Some of the holes were like threading a needle. The BBQ and kitchen facilities were great for our social.

Cons:

No trash cans on the course. Limited parking.

Other Thoughts:

This is a very technical course that challenged me to come back and improve my score. It's very well laid out. Great views and changing terrain.
