Great Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 30, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

Most of tee boxes are concrete and course is well maintained. Tough pin placements in certain areas but not sure where pins were on if they were A or B placements.

Cons:

A ton of walking between hole 2 and tee 3, hole 4 and tee 5, hole 9 and tee 10, hole 12 and tee 13. Hole 6 does not have a concrete tee box to it.

Other Thoughts:

I will definitely play this course again. Course is protected by length in the open areas. In the woods, shorter holes but obviously tougher.

Good Course, a lot of traffic 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 11, 2011 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Tee boxes
Decent course layout
Located in a nice park
Good hole details on signs

Cons:

Park can be bust with walker/joggers and soccor (season pending)
Some holes could be layed out better
A lot of walking between some holes
Not exactly clear direction to next hole

Other Thoughts:

All in all, this is a good course. It is the course that I play at least once a week if not more. At the end of summer and beginning of fall it can get a little busy due to football/soccor practice. When there is practice it is very hard to even play the first two holes due to the amount of people. But once clear of the first holes it is fairly smooth round, except for the occasional wait for a passing walker/jogger.

The course is layed out good for the most part. There are a couple holed that it wouldnt hurt to change. The first is hole 3. Its only 160ft, and yet it is a par four. Very easy to get birdie and eagle on this hole. And on the back 9, there are a couple holes with houses lining the left side of the hole. Could be vary easy to hit a house if the dise gets away from you.

In the end, this course is very fun and worth a try if you have not yet played. It can be a little tricky finding the park where it is located, but its not to bad. If you are going to play, To walk 18 it will have you going almost 3 miles, which is great exercise.

Challenging Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 28, 2009 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Nice Variety of Short and Long Holes. Also, has mostly open holes with a few in the woods. Plays better the second time around when you know where you are going. Baskets are in good shape and almost all holes have concrete tee pads. Park is pretty with a river running through it.

Cons:

Hard to find first hole. Does not have a course map to know layout for first timers. Several long holes that demand big drives. A few blind holes which have problems with walkers. Seems to favor backhand players more

Other Thoughts:

Good course that will challenge your long and short game. Once you know where you are going, a pleasant experience.

Well-maintained course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 15, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Good variety of long/short and wooded/open holes; clean course; multiple pin locations; concrete front pads; water comes in to play; long pads add significant challenge, and will definitely change your score; friendly locals

Cons:

Can be difficult first time to find some holes (follow the gravel path under the bridge after hole two, go left into woods shortly after the overpass; cross gravel path and walk a couple hundred yards for hole 5; keep walking straight after hole 12, about 300 yards); depending on pin location, slightly favors RHBH throws, making it a "easier" course; a lot of joggers/bike riders, and some along blind holes

Other Thoughts:

All in all it is a good course. This may not be a course to plan a road trip around, but it is definitely worth a drive. If nothing else, it will pull a lot of shots out of your bag, but rarely will you just bomb one out there (maybe on a couple holes) from concrete pads. A lot of the holes require placement over power, which is nice, especially for those who can't throw as far.
