Pros:
-- Two nice concrete tee pads per hole.
-- New Discatcher baskets.
-- Restroom.
-- Map. Although the holes are NOT to scale. No. 4 (201/243) is the shortest hole on the course but appears to be the longest on the map. Conversely, 1 and 6 are two of the longer holes on the course and appear to be the two shortest on the map.
-- Practice basket.
-- No. 7 is the best hole. It's the second longest hole (352/420) and uses the limited elevation in the park for a decent downhill throw to a basket with OB 20 feet behind it. No. 4 is also good. It's a tunnel shot with trees above, so you've got to keep your tee shot low.
Cons:
-- Not ideal land for disc golf because of limited elevation, and the water (a decent-sized pond) is not used. It's in view, but it would take an awful throw for the water to come into play. Trees are well used (it's moderately wooded) on several holes.
-- Nos. 5 and 6 feel a little like filler holes. Each is pretty wide open with 1-2 trees near the basket.
-- Long walk from 6 to 7.
Other Thoughts:
-- South Palm Street is a gravel road into the park.
-- Nos. 1 and 9 use an OB fence on the right to add to challenge to otherwise pedestrian holes.
