Pros:
-Surprisingly cool course in the south of the czech republic with scenic views on the
river "Nežárka" and the church "kostel sv. Jakuba".
-The first half of the course is located inside a public park, that runs along a river.
Here you will find open, more distant shots with few obstacles but some elevation changes.
-The second half of the course is located inside a very wooded area and plays around a small church. Here, the holes become shorter, but way more technical.
-The layout is well thought-out, and offers a great variety of shots.
-Even though the course is partially located inside a public park, traffic shouldn't be a problem.
There were some people walking their dogs, but the fairways were clear.
-Baskets, tees and teesigns were in great condition.
There where 2 course-maps.
Cons:
-The two Info-boards with course-map are placed badly, as i had to walk downhill through the park, just to find myself walking up again to hole #1 where the other map was.
-Navigating was a bit hard for the first time, especially for the first half of the course.
-Only one hole requires a real distance shot.
-A small road runs through the park (the first half of the course).
I found it a bit annoying as there was some traffic, although it does not "come into play".
There might be a small chance of discs getting kicked onto the road.
Other Thoughts:
This course is highly recommendable to any kind of player.
Advanced players will enjoy the challenging technical layout.
The town "Jindrichuv Hradec " is very pretty and is worth a visit, particularly with this great course just minutes away from the center.
