Pros:

Baskets in a park, with the added danger of hitting other park users

+ The approach on the 950' hole 4 is down into a pretty grove of apple trees. Hole 5 tee uses the same area, and It's about the only place on the course where you're not playing in open fields

+ The 257' downhill hole 2 is an ace run for most players. It's a fun hole that unfortunately crosses the perimeter walking path (see more about that in "cons"), but at least you can see the path the entire way

Cons:

- Several of the holes are designed to steer around soccer and baseball fields (this is why Hole #1 is a 527' par 4 "dogleg" that's really only about 400' in a straight line from tee to basket). But the fields aren't always marked, so you really have to use judgment about whether you avoided the OB or not

- The biggest "con" is the danger to pedestrians on walking paths for four of the six holes (67%!). Three of them (3, 4, 6) require full power shots in the direction of walking paths where the pedestrians can be hidden from view due to elevation. The worst of these is Hole #3 where you throw 400' uphill with a walking path between you and the basket. You will not be able to see anyone on the path over the crest of the hill as you throw directly at them. This is an extremely dangerous design, and I'm amazed the township allowed it

Other Thoughts:

~ It's hard to understand what needs this course fills: the holes are way too long for newbies, and too wide open for experienced players to play "golf" shots (Throw straight as far as you can. Repeat.). With only six holes spread around the edges of a huge park/ballfield complex, you really can't judge it as a "course" - it's just baskets in a circle around some playing fields. When considering the element of danger to other park users, you really have to limit the times you can play - to when there aren't walkers, or people using the soccer fields on #1 or #6, or the baseball field on #5

~ A layout like this would normally be a 1.5 or 2.0 rating for me: "baskets in a field". Given the danger to other people (and the resulting limits to playability times), I gave this a "1". Go ahead and bag it, but proceed with caution

Pros:

Next tees easy to find, close to previous basket, and indicated by a tall post.

Some elevation changes.

Approach to guarded basket #4.

Cons:

Natural tees, and a bit too close to previous basket.

Most holes: long/open throw. Repeat a few times. Putt.

The last hole is a lawsuit waiting to happen. From the tee, the basket is blindly-located on a slope. Almost in line between the tee and basket, there is a nice bench, about 50' before the basket. It, too, is blind from the tee, and has its back to the tee.

Other Thoughts:

Course plays in a counterclockwise direction in the open space of a large public park, containing many soccer and baseball fields.

The two tall posts locating tee #1 are to the left of a children's playground.

Lots of long, open throws, attempting not to go oob in not-well-marked soccer/baseball fields, to unguarded baskets, the exceptions being:
2) basket hidden amongst white pines
3) basket at end of rightside treeline
4) basket amongst scattered hardwoods.

Not a lot could be done with the available landscape.
