Deep East Texas Gem 2+ years drive by

Pros:

-Nice Fairways
-Great Layout
-Risk Reward Options
-Not All Par 3
-Great Tournament Course

Cons:

-Liberty Baskets
-Sometimes Long Grass
-Hole Signs Dont Always Line Up

Other Thoughts:

This course is well worth the trip. It is a long course that rewards good shots and punishes bad shots. A lot of holes have risk reward options to give trailing players a chance to move on the leaders. Morris is at it's best during events. Come to the Deep East Texas Amateur Championship in early May, or the Lufkin Open in early August to play a great tournament course!
