Pros:
There is an amazing variety of holes for a private course on someone's own parcel of land. There are a couple of long ace races and then there is one seven hundred plus foot monster of a hole down an old logging trek. The several holes that have home made baskets catch incredibly well. There is also a traveler and a Discatcher sport. Most of the fairways are pretty clear with lots of the deadwood cleared out of the fairway and even the rough. While the holes might not be super hard the basket location is pretty challenging and well placed behind bushes and tucked into the woods. There is a really nice amount of risk/reward shots.
Cons:
There are three holes that share the same basket. The holes need more clearing; lots of red marked trees line the fairways. The underbrush in the rough is thicker than molasses (this is due to all of John's focus is on getting the current telve fairways cleared and expanding to eigtheen). The walk between four and and five is an incredibly long walk up a logging trail. It being on a private residence there is minimal parking and no "public" amenities.
Other Thoughts:
There has supposedly been a lot of work done; clearing and cutting which would up my rating if played again.
