Pros:

Beautiful scenery, a lot of stuff to do at the park other than disc golf, nice signs, and fairly clean fairways. They clearly made an effort to keep lost discs to a minimum. A few cleverly laid out holes with OB that give you some risk/reward options.

Cons:

Too short. Any experienced player won't need more than a mid range for this course. The majority of the course plays uphill and is anywhere from 200-300 ft typically. You'll be breathing heavy by the time you reach hole 6 so pack light, wear solid hikers and bring a water bottle. Some hole designs just seemed silly with regards to tee and basket placement. Very disappointing to have climbed as high as I did and not get to really rip a long down hill shot. The tees are loose gravel which is already creating pits for you to roll an ankle in. My #1 pet peeve with this course was that the large hardwood signs were literally poking INTO the tee box from the side at the end of the tee, threatening a broken hand or wrist if the thrower was not EXTREMELY cautious. After about 5 holes of it I gave up on the tees and just stood to the side.

Other Thoughts:

Remember this course is at a fairly high altitude so discs are going to drop faster and fly more overstable. The course really is beautiful with great views and I commend Cranmore for giving the mount Washington valley it's true first disc golf option. I would play it again but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. I just hope they MOVE THOSE DARN TEE SIGNS!!
