Pros:

Despite being a short course in terms of length (about 4350 feet), this course still has some challenge due to to the very narrow, heavily-wooded fairways. Some of the high points include Holes 1, 7 and 10, which take advantage of the steep 40 to 50 foot hill along Duck Lake. Hole 14 is the best tunnel hole of the bunch. Hole 18 gives you a fairly-open shot to get you back to one of two small parking lots nearby. The course sits at the eastern shoreline of Duck Lake, with a beautiful vista of the undeveloped lakeshore and distant dune exit to Lake Michigan. Technically this is a free course, but there is also a donation box on site. Well-done cement tee pads, and good signs with distances posted. Limbs placed on the ground create paths leading to the next tee, aiding navigation.

Cons:

Though many of the holes have perhaps too-narrow fairways for entertaining play (similar to portions of the back nine at Whitehall), there has been some careful cutting of some smaller trees. However, there are also quite a few sheared-off small stumps to whack your feet and ankles on. Can have some occasional navigation hiccups for the first-time player. This course is slightly lacking in diversity with a near totality of tightly wooded holes, but this also makes this course more viable in high winds, which can be present given the close proximity to 'the big lake'.

Other Thoughts:

A pretty, remote rustic township park. A good choice if you're in the area or in the mood for a pleasant, scenic but shorter round with moderate levels of difficulty. A solid course worth a look.

Pros:

Newer course, new baskets, concrete tees. Nice clean park.

Cons:

Every hole but one is thru closely spaced trees. Most holes are fairly short. Baskets are not visible from tee on most holes and the signs are not much help. Just any arrow pointing straight or left or right. Also hard to find the next tee on some holes.

Other Thoughts:

Decent course if you like this type. Accuracy is what you need here. Not many oppertunities to take a chance and let a long drive go.
