Pros:

Close to Boone and Todd area, Scenery is beautiful and the river is easily seen. VERY hilly if you are into that. There is also a single practice hole at the base of the hill.

Cons:

The biggest con is the rugged terrain. The entire thing is on a steep, eroding hill with broken limbs everywhere. It is not maintained year round and trash and leaves are left covering the ground. The tee pads and pathways are of the lowest quality, being that it is dirt covered and hardly visible. Speaking of hardly visible, numerous of the microscopic signs have been knocked down or removed altogether. The distance between holes was almost as short as the signs, commonly being 50 to 70 feet if going from the red tee. There is no course map anywhere to be seen or clear markings of the next tee pad and where the hole is. There are only 9 holes on this course, which in our opinion is usually fine because you can play twice. On this course, however, by the ninth hole you are ready to hit the road. The whole course is one back breaking hike that leaves you tired, injured, and on the phone with your lawyer.

Other Thoughts:

We plan on returning to this course once more in the summer months to see if the course has been cleaned and restored. If so, we will leave another review to specify that the course is better during some months than others, which is still a con, but not as big of one if it is maintained from time to time.
