I want to like it

Reviewed: Played on:May 25, 2024 Played the course:once

Pros:

Kiosk with Map
Decent DD Patriot baskets

Cons:

No tee's marked, well #9 did have something marked
Long walk from basket 9

Other Thoughts:

For a college campus, this course is not horrible. But with no tee's marked, that really knocked it down for me.

There is a map at the kiosk and a bare spot where I guess hole 1 tee is suppose to be.

The first several holes throw back and forth in front of the parking lot and the major road. There is a grove of tree's including a disc grabbing evergreen to throw around. 2 of the holes are pretty open and longer shots.

Then you get to the really good holes that make the course for me.

hole 7 has you throwing over the pond to a small green between a fence and the pond. Land it and you will get the 2. Long and high will be OB, short or low will be wet and lost.

Hole 8 was just mowed when I played it, that made it look fantastic (see uploaded pic) The perfect range for my Wraith at just under 300ft with the pond covering at least 250ft of that if you don't throw far enough.

Hole 9 is a good finishing hole. This was the only hole I found some markers in the grass for a tee. It's the longest hole on the course with the pond on your left and an OB fence on your right. The basket is down and to the right following the curve of the fence and pond. I attempted to lay up around 300ft, but my disc just skipped into the pond. Fortunately the pond is very shallow and was clear this this spot. Easily got my disc back.

I was not a fan of having to walk all the way back to my car from here. Not sure how the course could be made to flow better, I just didn't like this one spot.

Would I play here again? No, not because I didn't like the course, but because it's just not quite good enough overall to make me want to play it again. I will also admit the water holes are intimidating as you can read on the UDisc reviews. Rec players hate those holes.
