Romp through the woods 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 15, 2010 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Beautiful course, well marked hole 1, concrete pads, most pads marked with signs.
This course takes you through many mature trees and close to waters in beautiful Oak Grove park. I was not expecting the nice distance of some of those holes. It challenges you to take new shots.

Cons:

Pads a bit small. The course as a whole lacks distance.

Other Thoughts:

I really enjoyed this course.

Nice 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 11, 2008 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Cement tees.
-Signs on most of the holes.
-Nice challenges of large mature trees and water.
-Nice baskets.
-Course layout is good and makes the course both challenging and easy to follow.
-Good variation of distance, more holes on the short side though.
-A few possible hole in one opportunities.
-Not too busy with disc golfers or other citizens.

Cons:

-Course is always muddy and wet due to proximity to river.
-Fargo, like the rest of the great plains has a relentless wind that makes disc golfing a challenge if your not from the area.
-Course is on the old side and some signs are missing but otherwise the course is nice.

Other Thoughts:

If you are in the Fargo/Moorhead area play this course.

Pros:

Difficult with a lot of trees
Many different type of shots used

Cons:

Small teeboxes, ALOT of casual water after rain, baskets are low to ground.

Other Thoughts:

If you are in the Fargo/Moorhead area, go to Moorhead instead and play at Woodlawn
