Pros:

+pretty blue-topped Innova Pro 28 Discatcher baskets
+cool hanging basket on 8
+shady
+well-maintained grass, not much thorny rough
+a couple holes have a little elevation change
+beginner-friendly; I'd say it's the most beginner-friendly course in Lafayette

Cons:

-one set of tees
-no holes over 300 feet
-some tees are close to the preceding basket

Other Thoughts:

This little course seems pretty popular with the locals, especially the newer players, and it's easy to see why. There's short holes, the place is shady due to the big trees on the property, it's downtown, and the holes are interesting. A couple turn right, a couple turn left, a couple are straight, a couple are blind, so it's not boring. Hole 9 is a unique finishing hole, with a teeny-tiny island that's only maybe 15 feet wide; the tee is 100 feet away so it's pretty much ace it or take a three or four, since the drop zone is about a 20-foot putt at the basket. The course designer did a good job here, given that the property is about 4 acres maybe, but there's just enough obstacles to work with.
