Good little park course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 5, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course has a variety of shots. Its in a clean nice park with trees and some elevation changes. For a park 9 hole some shots are longer some shorter.

Cons:

The signs are very bad. Face wrong direction and are not great. The flow is a bit odd. Sign for 8 is missing but pole is still there

Other Thoughts:

When you get to the park walk right along the right hand side walk to 1 along residential fences. 1 plays back into the park not along edge.

Nice Neighborhood course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 24, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Baskets are in good shape
Good mix of holes using all the terrain of the park.
There are Tee signs where you suppose to tee off

Cons:

Grass/Dirt Tee pads
Hardly any of the tee signs point in the right direction.
Some of the tee signs are blank.

Other Thoughts:

Course map helped me figure this course out.

I did find the course to be enjoyable with a good mix of hole types. Not really any long holes here. Hole 9 may be the only hole I could not reach with my drive, and that had to do more with the design of the fairway than the length of the hole.

Not just a pitch and putt 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:May 24, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course has a good mix of open, guarded, short and moderate length holes. There are few holes that have water threat and some that have guarded baskets.
The signage is adequate and the flow is logical. This course uses the present elevation and the landscape well.
There are other amenities here like a restroom, basketball goal, pond etc.
This is a good beginner/intermediate level course with pretty decent shot variety.

Hole observations:
1-3 play on top of a hill with baskets semi-protected.
4-downhill with the basket next to a creek.
5-is a low ceiling shot with a group of trees upon approach.
6-has a pond on the right hand side and the basket is guarded.
7-open with a creek on the right.
8 and 9-are low ceiling shots that play across the creek.
Favorite holes here were 4, 5, and 8.

Cons:

The walking path comes into play on a few holes so safety first.
Tees might wear or rut over time.
There needs to be a bridge or a plank to assist in the crossing of the creek on hole 9.
Wind will factor in on the first half of the course.
I don't recall seeing any trash cans, but the course was virtually litter free.

Other Thoughts:

Overall this is a fun 9 hole course in a small city park. There is a little bit of every kind of shot here, from short to moderate length, low ceiling to water carries, to open to protected pin.
There really aren't any technical holes here but there are some good lines to be shaped on a few holes. This is a good course for those new to the game that are wanting a bit of a challenge but don't want to be frustrated. Intermediate players will also find something here to help improve their game.
Worth a stop if you are passing by and want to get a quick nine in.
