A Beginners Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 25, 2021 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Every single hole is beginner friendly, even bringing along a 9 year old boy he was able to get it in with 4th or 5th shot.

Adults should easily 2-4 it!

Hole 1 - Pretty neat over the road throw towards a cabin! easy 3 hole.

Hole 2 - Nice 6 or 7 30ft bushes blocking view, so curve it or try your luck throwing through it.

Hole 3 - Tricky little downhill 130 feet throw.. becareful! play safe on second throw! lool

Hole 4 - Another tricky one where your launch can role straight into the woods! But we haven't lost a frisbee yet!

Hole 5 - Farthest hole, but not difficult at all.

Hole 6 - Small simple hole not much to comment on.

Hole 7 - Careful of the left and right curve! Your either gonna end up in the woods or the bush!

Hole 8 - Down the hill into a swampish area, isn't that hard.

Hole 9 - Can be difficult, swamps cover everything, but if your a 1-2 yr player or can aim your disc it's not difficult at all.

Cons:

Swamp area..

Other Thoughts:

For beginners to the sport me and my friend's had a great time! - We already plan on coming back and perfecting our skills before heading out to the more difficult "Twin Peaks" in Crab Orchard, WV.

Great course for the kiddies. 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 6, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

This is a short, 9-hole course located within a private rental cabin community. The course is well laid-out and maintained. Kids will love it due to the short distances.

Cons:

The distance on the holes range from 110' - 220' with most of them being right around 120'. As you probably already surmised, this isn't a course for those seeking a challenge. This is a quick play for families visiting the cabins.
Note: The signs at the tees are facing the wrong direction.

Other Thoughts:

I attempted to visit the front office to ask persmission to play, but no one was there and the cabins were mostly empty. Although I wasn't a customer, I must say the Pine Haven cabins are really nice and I hope I can visit for a prolonged period next time.
