Pros:
- Two tee pads per hole to make it 18 holes.
- Baskets are used from Tower Ridge. Older Discatchers that still do the job!
- Bathrooms, Food, and Drinks at the clubhouse.
- Well maintained course.
- Decent variety of shot selections.
- Utilize the water hazards and bunkers (when not covered with ice and snow) well.
Cons:
- Only open during the winter.
- No Tee Signs, navigation is very straightforward though.
- Not a whole lot of distance required.
Other Thoughts:
Overall a solid winter course. Weekly leagues for CVDGO are usually hosted here or at one of the other winter courses. I put in cons that there isn't a bunch of distance required but that isn't necessarily a bad thing when there is a foot of snow on the ground.
The clubhouse has solid food and drinks and the golfers/customers really enjoy chatting with disc golfers...I think they think we are crazy for playing in the winter. LOL!
