Nicely designed 9-hole on County Club property

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 31, 2023 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Lots of elevation changes, layout was well thought, great signage and baskets.

Cons:

$3 pp to play for the day; alternate basket placements (July 2023) added strokes to the score; some wood chip tee boxes were tough to negotiate.

Other Thoughts:

A pleasure to play (2x) when we were in the area. I forgot about dress code, but luckily they said we were OK for the DG course.
Loved hole 6, a big downhill RH underhand bomber to the dogleg. Hole 1 was nice too; not a fan of short #3 over the pond (alt pin was a few throws 100% over the water) and uphill #4 was a little unfair also...no clear path.

Disc golf meets country club. 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 12, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

Nice tee signs w/bag holders attached
Nice signs that direct you towards next tee
Good use of the land
Nice yellow MVP black hole baskets

Cons:

Pay to play
Wood chip tee pads
Some very rough ROUGH
Some of the short par 3's feel like filler holes

Other Thoughts:

I didn't know what to expect when I made the trip to this course. Not playing a course before that was played out connected to a ball golf course I was eager to see how it was setup. Course is on the backside of the country club property near a house owned by the course. Look for the kiosk to find where to start.

A quick layout recap:

Hole #1 wide tunnel shot to start. Basket is on left side closer to woods.
Hole #2 from long tee this hole is a blind down hill dogleg left par 5 tee shot. High rough on either side. Basket is guarded by pines with water hazard if you go to far right.
Hole #3 this is a water hole with the basket sitting @ about 11 o'clock on a rise with your tighter gap shot going straight at it. Spike Hyzer is the shot of choice.
Hole #4 is a choose your lane shot. You can either go giant spike Hyzer up the hill or take the left gap up the hill which is guarded by several guardian trees.
Hole #5 is a short little backhand Hyzer shot to a guarded basket or a forehand to cut in towards the basket.
Hole #6 is a big downhill 90 degree dog left shot that's fun.
Hole #7 is a VERY tight tunnel shot with the basket dead straight.
Hole #8 is another tunnel shot with the basket a little to the left of dead straight.
Hole #9 is a little Hyzer or forehand shot to a guarded basket.

A couple of the par 3's I feel could possibly be par 4's. Distance wise no...they are par 3's. Example: #4 and #7 come to mind. Four is a very different kind of hole I've never seen the likes of. You can either take the more conventional route with a giant spike Hyzer towards the short tee pad around the corner or take the risky shot at about 10 o' clock from the tee pad. Both are uphill shots. I think this lane is the more intended route but the tee pad faces away from this route towards the other route which makes throwing this risky route more difficult. Seven is just a very tight long tunnel shot that you need to keep your shot Dead Straight! The fairway is only 10 to 15 feet wide so if your off even a little your scrambling for par. It would be nice if it were widened a little, even if it was just towards the end.
Overall my wife and me enjoyed this course. It is a much needed course where there aren't many options to play. If this course is up kept it will only get better with time.
