Other Thoughts:
John Houck always finds good lines when he designs a course, this little course holds true to this. Point Venture is a private community Park on Lake Travis, you can't park and walk in, you have to have a keycard to get in the gate and only one vehicle per card can get in.
However, most of the local players have golf carts and just drive around the gate, they can let you in as they did for me. This course does have a lot of local players who enjoy this little course.
Located on a Peninsula in a grove of tree's, the course has both left, right and straight shots though the tree's. The only thing you don't have is a full blown drive as not any hole is more than 300ft.
Would I play here again? Yes I think I would. It's a fun little course, you just have to contact someone local to play. They are a friendly bunch.
