Pros:

Readstown Park DGC is your basic, small town nine hole course. The course plays through a, well kept, entirely flat grass area. There's also a playground and baseball field here, and seems to be a popular place for people to fish at. Not a single other golfer out there today.

The baskets are white Dynamic Discs Patriots. These are decent. Not the greatest baskets out there but also far from the worst. The white color really makes them pop out, though most are visible from the tee regardless of color. One pin position per hole.

The flow of the course is extremely easy to follow once you find hole one, which is located on the east side of the park, closest to where you entered the park.

Natural tee pads but there's wood pavers imbedded in the ground denoting the front of the tee. The natural tees were fine here, most likely due to the lack of traffic here. One tee pad per hole.

The tee signs are kind of a mixed bag. They feature the hole #, par, distance and a decent hole map. Hole 1's was missing but the rest were there. Not a big deal since all baskets except hole 8's are visible from the tee.

There's a practice basket near hole 1. The course is free to play and permanent. Shouldn't take most folks more than 30 minutes or so to play.

Cons:

The tee signs are functional for sure, durable on the other hand? I can't imagine these things will be around for too much longer.

The course uses the available space well to fit 9 holes in here. Unfortunately there's not too many unique features here to be used. They did what they could. It's just not very exciting.

That's about all I got. Not much to say about this one honestly.

Other Thoughts:

This course is worth a spin if you happen to be in the area. That's about it though, one round. It's a solid little warm up course for Veteran's if you are coming from that direction. Otherwise you're not really missing much. At least there's another course in the area.
