Other Thoughts:

At the time of this posting (Aug 2nd 2013) a few of the other reviews are a little incorrect. This course is in the process of being converted to 18 holes. There are 18 different baskets set up now. There are 9 concrete tee pads and 9 more coming soon (probably done by this time next month). Also, there are signs coming soon to indicate yardage, etc. A new map has been made and can be found online and a new printed map we be posted at the course too. The course is maintained by the Smithville PARD and the Smithville Disc Golf Association. The SDGA is extremely active and is regularly holding meetings to improve the course.

The course.
Has a great variety of shots. Great course for the average, intermediate and beginner player. Super Pros may not enjoy this course. It is designed for all around fun and scoring. All the holes are Par 3 with the exception of 12 can be played as a Par 4. Hole 5 will be elevated and not be a blind shot (SDGA voted to change this hole). There are several holes that can be played with a flick shot. There are a few holes where having a great arm will help. There are a few short holes where precision comes into play.
