Pros:
Well maintained - regularly mowed and trimmed
Clearly signed, concrete tee decks
Easy to navigate
Hard (impossible?) to lose a disc
Great for beginners and growing the sport
Some shot variety, some low ceilings or gaps to hit, 3 longer holes options over 350'.
Beautiful park, beautiful setting beside the river, plenty of shade on hot sunny days
Parking, washrooms, other amenities nearby like a carousel, concession, playgrounds, ball diamonds, walking trails
Cons:
Busy park/Busy course
Short course
Some pinch points
Canadian Geese present
Other Thoughts:
This course has maximized the land available to create a very popular course.
Both a good thing and a bad thing, the course backs up with groups on every hole on weekends. It's good to see so many new players getting into the sport, but it comes with a price of slow pace of play.
It really excels as an introductory to amateur layout. I'd give it a 5 as a beginner course, but 4 overall to the greater disc golf community.
