This is a well-designed course right on the edge of north Norman/south Moore, and while it doesn't feature any signature elements that raise it above some other courses in the area, it is still a welcome addition to the local course selection. Shot variety is dominated by two variables: distance and foliage. Holes tend to favor either tunnel shots or completely wide-open and relatively short or looooong bombers. Hole difficulty thus varies from pretty straightforward () to challenging lines (final three holes can really ruin a round). As always, the Oklahoma wind will come into play at some point, but the open field holes can really punish you as a result. Still, line shaping is required for the majority of the course, and the desired lines are pretty apparent due to the design. Elevation isn't a big factor, and it's pretty balanced righty/lefty. Signage is excellent, though you do have to scout the holes at times to find out which pin is current. There are alternate tees on a couple of holes and the course flows well. First-timers may have a couple of issues between some of the early holes, but running it once makes logical sense, and it's easy after that.
My favorite holes are probably 1, 7, 8, and 14.
Restrooms, dog park, walking trails, practice basket, and decent amount of trash cans round out the amenities of the course. It's been well-maintained since it opened and is well beaten in. After the initial surge of players after it opened, it has settled into a nice amount of traffic most of the time.

There's a walking trail that parallels the course in many areas and people will sometimes wander off of it and onto the course in weird ways as the DG trails look like hiking trails to the uninitiated. I think the addition of some signs (especially at the terminus of hole 18!) would be a good idea.
The open bomber holes 11 & 12 are pretty dull.
There's a handful of opportunities to loose a disc or at least have to go hunting (creek on 5 holes, but 3, 14, and 17 are the biggest risks), but those locations are obvious and you can plan accordingly. Some of the higher prairie grass rough areas could be problematic if you don't track well or scout the hole a bit. It's a fairly well-used course and I haven't played it in/after a heavy rain, but there's the potential for some mud issues in a couple of locations.

This course is a welcome addition to the south side of the OKC metro area. While technically in north Norman, it's really the best course in Moore. I wish it was closer to some amenities like a disc shop and fast food that didn't require traveling the frontage roads, but that's not a big deal. Overall the course plays well with a nice shot variety and works well with the other park activities (For the most part – see above).

Bottom line: it's a well-designed course that offers a variety of shots and challenges and is just fun to play.

Played solo, 1st time here, and didn't lose any discs. The rough/long stuff is not too dense, so this is a plus! Oversized metal tee signs. 3-way mandos on many tee shots helps squash any tomahawk over-the-top strategies, an advantage if you're not a big armed, power thrower. A straight flying midrange or putter are your best friend on most tee shots. I only used a driver on 5 holes, and I throw 250-280ft with my drivers.

No "next tee" signs, layout is kinda awkward with up to 150' walks from basket to the next pad. 2 ridiculously thickly-wooded, bring a roller disc!

-- Perhaps the best/clearest making of OB I have ever seen. Fairways are cut low and rough is at least a foot taller so you can easily see that from the tee. In addition, OB is marked by numerous white stakes in the ground. We had one close call, but were able to clearly see that the disc was partially inbounds using a straight line from post to post.
-- Great red Mach X baskets.
-- A practice basket near hole 1.
-- Great use of the land: elevation, trees and water.
-- Alternate tee pads on four holes (4, 8, 12 and 18) that add 100-125 feet and a great deal of difficulty.
-- Hole distance variation is excellent: Three holes under 250 feet and another five less than 300 feet. On the other end, using alternate tees, you've got three holes longer than 500 feet and another three longer than 400.
-- Decent flow; only needed to check map on my phone twice.
-- Several good two-shot holes where the landing zone for your tee shot is crucial. No. 17 (515 feet) is perhaps the best example. You need about 250-275 feet slightly downhill through a clown's mouth mando (and trees) and past another mando at the bridge over the small creek on a gentle RHBH anny to reach a landing zone that gives you a good line for your second shot. Short/right or long/left makes that second shot much more difficult.
-- No. 3 is the shortest hole on the course (218 feet) but is an excellent example of a well-designed short hole: S shaped fairway ending on a peninsula with a small creek around three sides of the green.
-- Does not favor one throwing style (RHBH/LHBH).
-- Several nice bridges to cross the creek.

-- Path from 10 basket to 11 tee takes you through the putting circle on No. 4.
-- Mandos. Anyone who has read my reviews knows I'm not a big fan, especially if they are simply for design purposes and not for safety. That is definitely the case here. Seven holes have mandos, four of them TRIPLE mandos using the alternate tees.
-- A couple of holes (10 and 14) are pretty bland, open holes (both under 300 feet) with little or no shot shaping required.
-- No map on site.

-- Disc loss potential is probably medium. There are some throws over/around trees where you won't be able to see your disc land. A poor shot could be lost in trees, tall grass or the creek.
-- Hole 1 starts north of the parking lot. Hole 18 ends behind the dog park and leave you a little bit of a walk back to the parking lot. You do not come back near the parking lot during the round.

Great mix of holes and shots. Very well maintained course. Tees are very nice, and the pin diagrams are very detailed. There's a good amount of shade which is nice on hot summer days. No running water when we played.

A couple holes have difficult pin placement that doesn't enhance gameplay at all.

I would 100% recommend playing this course.

What can I say, I am being super picky with my con's for this course. It is true that I am not a fan of "fake" ob lines or mando's.

but this course really really does it right. The OB's are marked very well with white sticks and they don't mow past them so you can see the OB lines pretty easy off the tees.

The OB's are mostly to force shots, not to protect other park users. There are a few double mando's and a few triple mando's to keep players from throwing over everything. They are very clearly marked with yellow polls.

I am SO sorry my phone ran out of juice on the 3rd hole. I really planned on posting a lot more pictures than I did.

There are very nice restrooms by the parking lot. There is a practice basket with a very nice putting area in the shade near hole 1. Great place to warm up while you are waiting for the wife to use the bathroom. (or is that just me)

You start out with a few wooded holes, hole one is only 300ft but you can't get there that easy. Decent doglet to the right up a slight hill.

Then you cross over a great bridge with bird feeders on it named after the McClellan's. They are legends of Norman, Jonny Mac, MitchMac and Gunner.

Got a couple of great tunnel short holes including hole #3 that is an S shaped hole ending on a peninsula with a small creek around 3 sides of the green.

The course opens up after that with a few mando's and lots of artificial OB's to avoid.

I got to mention the last 2 holes on the course.

Hole 17, triple mando down a tight tunnel and over a small creek to a landing area. From here you still need to to to the right to a basket on the side of a pretty good little slope. It's listed as a par 5, but if you get lucky, you could get the 3.

Hole 18 has the same thing, another triple mando throwing out to a hard left with a double mando in the middle of the fairway and OB left and right of that.

Would I play here again? Yep, for sure. I really want to play this course again now that I know the basic layout. This is a course that can eat your lunch but you can shoot good. One of, if not the best course in the OKC area.

This is the most technical course in the area. Have to use every through in the bag. Tight woods on most holes. Sharp dog legs. Varity of distance. Great tee pads and alt tees on the super long holes. Great baskets.

The mud is a real issue. So playing after snow or rain will be hard. No signs(yet) They do have temp signs with distance. Im sure they will put up nice signs.

This is not for beginners and armatures. The better players will love this technical new course.
