Pros:
The disc golf section of Sabo Park is a quiet little piece of land just over 3 acres. It's located on the west side of Brewster, a nice little railroad town about 13 miles southwest of Canton.
+ The ammentities for a course like this are pretty solid. All concrete tees, like-new laminated tee signs, and a map by the start. The convergence of the tee pads for holes 4, 6, and 8 has a nice picnic table.
+ If you're the only group out on the course, it can be a quiet and enjoyable round.
Cons:
- You may or may not have read my brief intro, if you didn't, I'll refresh you. The park is 3 acres. As a result, every hole is on top of another, with some near-crossing fairways. It's way too congested, and the holes that are here are pretty uneventful.
- Baskets are old and don't catch well. A couple are dented.
- A 9-holer with filler holes is never a good course, and there's a few at Sabo. #3 is just over 100', as well as #8.
Other Thoughts:
Sabo just doesn't have enough space for a 9-hole course. Lots of congestion, with boring throw after boring throw. I don't recommend playing unless you're a local looking to get some putting practice in.
