Pros:
- Intuitive layout, course flow
- excellent kiosk map
- course on exclusive park land
- scenic park
Cons:
- lots of repetition
- bland holes
- bulk of the back nine is road-hugger
- natural tees, rudimentary tee signs
Other Thoughts:
Decent multi-use park course. Nothing exceptional.
Holes 2-6 are open-field back & forth. Some moderately interesting/challenging holes from 13-17.
A nice little maintained park, easily accessed from the main road and has plenty of parking as well as a portable-potty by the first tee.
Hole 18 ends right by the parking lot. A lot of the back-nine holes run along the road or are very close to it.
Hole 7 is a huge slightly downhill mammoth drive hole. Probably the only hole that stood out for me at all.
With some permanent tees, and better tee signs with maps, this course would make it to 3.0 stars.
There's nothing particularly exceptional about this course to get it up past that rating. It's a decent round, but not one worth any sort of a significant trip to get there.
Note: There were signs up that wanted the course was closed during hunting season, which from what I recall were select dates throughout Nov - Jan.
