Meh 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Mix of long and short holes.
Decent basket condition.
Two different tee's for each hole.
Scenery is okay. (Right next to river)

Cons:

Very wet. Hole 2 had 3 inches of water on the fairway.
No elevation change throughout the course.
Course runs through a picnic/bbq area.


Other Thoughts:

I went to the course in hopes that it would be one of the best in the area considering its high rating on here. Was pretty disappointed overall. It's fine for a small town and rural setting but I did expect better off the ratings.

GREAT COURSE TO PLAY 2+ years drive by

Pros:

COURSE IS CHALLENGING FOR EVERYONE BUT IT IS NOT SO HARD THAT IT WILL TURN OFF THE BEGINNER. A NUMBER OF HOLES REQUIRE SOME REAL THINKING TO GET AROUND AND THROUGH THE TREES, THE OPEN HOLES ARE NICE AND THEY ARE NOT SO LONG THEY WOULD TURN OFF A BEGINNER.

Cons:

HOLES 2, 4, AND 5 RUN ALONG THE RIVER WHICH MEANS YOU MAY GO SWIMMING IF YOU GO LONG, HOLE 6 AND 8 ARE NEXT TO A TAR ROAD SO YOU HAVE TO WATCH FOR TRAFFIC (THIS IS NOT A MAIN TRAFFIC ARTERY).

Other Thoughts:

HOLES 9 IS ONE OF THE MOST CHALLENGING HOLES THAT I HAVE EVER PLAYED DUE TO THE CURVE ON TEE OFF AND THE TREES TO GET AROUND, THE BEST I HAVE EVER DONE ON THIS HOLE IS 4 (PAR 5) BY A STROKE OF LUCK.

Pros:

Course is technical and well planed.

Cons:

Only 9 Holes and Central to the course it a large BBQ Area and Childrens Park.

Other Thoughts:

Hole 2 is sweet because if you don't throddle your throw it will head into the Red Eye River... :)
